It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood!

Today Benjamin and I got up to beautiful snow! I love snow. I don't love -35 snow blowing in my face, but I adore big soft fluffy snowflakes floating down and sticking to everything! It makes everything look so PRETTY! Aside from a lovely fall day, a day like today is my very favorite sort of weather! Ben had a little trouble walking in it this morning, I had to clear paths for him or he'd cry...

  1. Ben looks so little in all that snow. Like he's in Siberia or something. SO CUTE.

  3. It's still snowing. I should put Ben in the same spot and see how high it is now. (Oh, and by the way... he's not in a drift. There is no wind. We are getting DUMPED on! YAY!) (I don't shovel so I can say yay...)

I saw Chloe's blog already... I'll add it to my Blog's I read list.

  5. Cute picture Becky. Except for all the white stuff. Snow is a bad four letter word for me. I hate it. I mean I REALLY hate it. The other morning I woke to see the snow had arrived on the mountain top and that is as close as I want it to come. That is why I live here now. I honestly don't care if I ever walk in it again. It is very pretty...on your yard. Not mine. Thanks for the Chloe page Trav.

  6. Hey Becky, that is adorable. It just began blizzarding here and I just don't think I am ready for my first real winter. I haven't had a snowy winter for about 4 years. Holy crap. I think it's pretty and I'm all for the white Christmas thing, but man, I can't stand the cold. Your little boy is just so adorable. I can't wait to see the little "girl". I wonder if you heard too, I'm sure you did, that I get to be an auntie! Robyn is due on the 25th, and although I know the circumstances could have been better, I'm so excited to meet the little guy. Dad informed us all that she's having a boy, and he's NEVER once been wrong. Either way, love you, love checking onto your blog. Have a great night.

  7. What did you do to my Grandson to make him cry like that, did you never read the bible verse about tieing a millstone around someones neck if they made a baby cry. That may not be completely accurate, but you get my drift. I am with my sister on this one. We have just a teeny bit of snow in shaded spots now and that is enough snow for me for this winter. -5 is the coldest I ever want to experience again and no snow is enough for me. I just hate it more and more every year. But it does look very pretty falling in your yard and on my grandson.

  8. You guys are all a bunch of big babies. I am sure if I put you in the snow by Ben no one would be able to pick out which one of you was the toddler.

And, no Mel, I didn't know Robyn was expecting because NO ONE TELLS ME ANYTHING! (Were you there for the Lisa faux paus?) You said she was due on the 25th? Please tell me that you don't mean the 25th of November because then I will have to be VERY irritated that I didn't find out almost till the baby was BORN! We've got to get our family gossip mill working a little better... seriously.
