2 Random Thoughts

1. I love putting through the first 2 loads of laundry. There are no clothes to take out of the dryer and there's no folding to do yet. After that laundry just goes downhill for me.

2. I just touched one of the gross bugs in our basement with my bare finger. Usually I pick them up with a kleenex, but somehow the kleenex slipped this time and I touched it. You gotta figure it's gonna happen after picking up over 20 of the disgusting things in ONE DAY! I'm still freaking out a bit here. Oh look, there's another...

  2. Becky, you are a great and wonderful person and mom. I have those bugs too and I hate them but even more than that, I hate the massive ants that are trying to eat my house up. I got some poison today which I bought many times but didn't know how to use. Now I know so look out ants!!

  6. No, no crunch. They are pretty small really. If you look closely at the picture, Shirley look closely, you will notice how big the carpet fibres are next to the bug. I had to zoom WAY in...

  7. Oh, and Ang, 1 to 3? You are a lightweight. By the time I went to bed last night the count was around 30. I've killed 3 already and I've been down here for about 5 minutes...

  9. EWWW!! I hate those things... When we were living in our rental house, and Keegan and I were sharing the basement, there were tons of those nasty little bugs... One time I saw a couple when I was about to go to bed, and I freaked out... I showed Keegan, and he freaked out, too... I caught them in a cup and flushed them down the toilet... Then we were too disturbed, because we kept imagining them crawling in our beds... So we went upstairs and watched TV until about 3 in the morning... By then, we were so tired, we didn't really care, and wen't downstairs and passed out... That basement was creepy in general... There were a lot of places that we imagined the other tennants may have stuffed dead bodies...

  11. We don't have those bugs here, at least for now. We did have an ant problem. A bad one, in OUR BEDROOM!!! They were coming in through the window somehow, and our bed was under it for a little while. EEEEWWWW!!!! It was horrible! Waking up to things crawling all over you!!! When our street was dug up, they dug in front of our window to get some work done, and since then, we haven't had a problem with ants. :D

  13. I hate those little bugs, too, but I hate spiders more. I would rather have 50 of those little bugs than one of the spiders that came out of my laundry this morning. I was sorting my laundry and out fell this huge, black, hairy spider. It's body was about the size of a dime and with legs and all it was bigger than a toony. This is for real.. I couldn't have killed it if I tried, but as it took off, I opened the back door, which is right beside my washer and the stupid (or smart) spider went out the door. I quickly closed, and locked, the door. That's when I realized that the spider, big and smart as he was, probably couldn't open the door. I think I heard a faint knock though....
