Summer Daze

I love the lake. The beach in particular. Especially in the early evening when the wind dies down and everything is calm and quiet. Sigh. We have a lake that is only a half hour away. It's my favorite thing about living in Yorkton and it's not even really in Yorkton. I love it there. I'm so sad that Glen has to go back to work and our days at the beach are almost over. Sigh.

  1. We have Spider Lake about 20 minutes from here and I love being there. The water isn't salty and it is much warmer than the ocean. The kids can play in the water and I can lay in the sun in between swims. Hopefully we still have a couple of months for swimming. I love BC.

  2. That looks awesome. We have nothing resembling a lake anywhere near here. Maybe one 45 minutes away, and of course, everyone goes there. I can't wait to move some days.

  3. The lake is a wondeful thing. I enjoyed camping and going to the lake the few times we did it.

You are lucky to have one so close by

  5. I thought you must live close to a lake to see so many beach pictures. There is no better place on earth than being near water. There is something so peaceful about it especially if you are there alone and all is quiet. I find it especially calming when you can hear the waves lapping up on the shore.I hope you still have many more warm days to go to the beach before the long winter sets in.
