  1. Wow that's crap. I remember last summer, Peter and I would watch the weather for a sunny weekend, try and get our camping gear together to go camping. At least twice, all loaded up on Thursday night, we'd go to work on Friday, and all of a sudden it would start to pour rain. Check the weather, and all of a sudden the forcast has changed from "sunny weekend" to "monsoons for the weekend", so we'd unpack in the rain, and rent a movie instead. It's so completely frustrating. I'm sorry.

  4. Get grandma to pray about the weather. God listens to her, and especially about the weather for some reason. Have a really safe trip, I'll pray too.

  5. I'll pray too. I know how much your parents want to see you. I also expect a new post with pictures when you get back next week.

  10. Oh... Travy,

I don't think a visit is going to work this trip. Glen and I are both very busy, important people, and we can't waste time on relatives...

Actually, we'd love to waste some time on you, or at least I would... Glen is at some cabin with some friends of his playing board games all weekend, and I'm single parenting. On top of that I need to get my Xmas shopping done while I'm in Saskatoon and I also need to buy a new carseat, so I don't think I'm gonna have much spare time.

How about this? You come visit us in Yorkton and I'll make you whatever you want to eat.

  11. Now our stupid car is broken... I'm kinda wishing we hadn't come. Why is it that every trip we make home ends up with something going wrong and costing us even more than we budgeted for? I'm in a bad mood.

  12. Why is it that car trouble makes one feel like it's the end of the world? It does me, anyway. Hope things turn out.

  15. I am glad you came, the car would have broke anyway, well maybe not as you said you drove through some icy ruts, but at least I got to see the boys. Sam let me hold him a few times, thats getting better.
